28 Dec 2007 - Visit to XSCAPE

Apologies for the lack of photographs. I did take the camera but alas the batteries were flat - so no pics! Shame! We all had a great time. This year the band had opted for ski and snowboarding sessions. There were some 'naturals' on the slopes but others who shouldn't be booking trips to Switzerland in the near future. By far the biggest challenge for us all was sorting out the lockers - and getting the gear on and off!!! If we go again we must allow about an hour for this part of the fun! From the snow slope to the bowling lanes. Here we had a few more stars - well done to Dylan - just pipped at the post by that show off JJ!
After lunch the joys of the fairground called and in spite of the wind chill factor many band members enjoyed the thrills of the quite scary rides. Others headed for the Outlet shops and came away with a few bargains.
A great day out that catered for everyone - young and old!
